About Us

Risteard MacLiam

Risteard is a teacher, translator and writer. He has written several textbooks for secondary students, most notably the Turas series with Educate.ie. He loves playing music and singing badly – which is why in Mo Chuid Amhráin Ghaeilge we thought it best to leave it to the professionals! Risteard is committed to the promotion of Irish language and culture and hopes that you will see this reflected in our song books.

Tatyana Feeney

Tatyana grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and spent much of her early childhood going to the library and listening to stories. She is now based in County Meath, Ireland where she spends a lot of time working on illustrations and new story ideas. She has won numerous awards for her books, including the Waterstone’s Children’s Book Prize and the Kate Greenway Medal. You can see all of her books at www.tatyanafeeney.com.
